Eligibility

Applicants must be non Chinese Foreign citizens in good health both physically and mentally with good academic background, observe Chinese laws as well as university rules and regulations, and respect Chinese customs.
Masters program: Applicants must have a bachelors degree or certification of equivalent education under the age of 35
The degree must be ready prior to the registration day
Applicants who apply for English-taught program must have minimum requirements for IELTS (Academic) total score 6, TOEFL score 80 or Duolinguo 100.

Documents You Need to Provide (Application Documents Sample)

Note: If you want to book our translation service, please pay and book it at least 2 weeks before the application deadline for submission of all documents;
If you want to book our guardian service, you need to pay and book it 2 months before the application deadline, just in case your application fails because of failed to submit application documents in time.

1. Photocopy of valid passport

2. A scanned clear copy of valid passport.

3. Bachelors degree diploma (in Chinese/English or notarized in Chinese/English)

Both the original and official English translated version are required

4. Academic transcripts (in Chinese/English or notarized in Chinese/English )

5. Certificate of English proficiency:

Applicants who apply for English-taught program must have minimum requirements for IELTS (Academic) total score 6, or TOEFL score 80. Applicants who apply for Chinese-taught program must have HSK 5 certificate.

6. 2 letters of recommendation

Please provide 2 supporting recommendation letters from professors associate professors at their institutions either in Chinese or English, phone number and email number of the professors should be included

7. Physical examination form(Only valid for 6 months)

8. Research plan

Applicants need to submit study and research plan written in English or Chinese with a minimum of 800 words, include the educational background, working experiences, research achievements, future research interest and research plan during their studies leading to master or doctoral degree, and personal career planing after graduation, etc.

9. Provisional consent form

Applicant is encouraged to contact relative professors who are willing to supervise their proposed study at NJUST.

10. Certificate of guarantee, proof of the guarantor’s financial ability

Mainly including statement of employment and income, certificate of bank deposit or other proof of financial ability.

Faqs

Q: If I failed to get the scholarship, is the money refundable?
A: No, because the application process for this scholarship is complicated and hard to deal with. We need a very long time to help you apply it. As a result, it is not refundable.

Q: When can I know the result whether I get the scholarship or not?
A: Generally, the result will come out around mid-February for Spring Intake and around May to June for Autumn Intake.

Q: When will I get the admission documents?
A: The admission documents, including Admission Letter, Scholarship Confirmation and Visa Letter, will be delivered to you 1-2 months before the course starts.

Q: Why should I pay the service fee in advance?
A: Scholarship application takes time, effort and resource in both CUCAS and universities, and the process is irreversible. In case of casual applications and attempts, we charge service fee in advance. There is no extra cost or hidden charge.
